When we work with our clients, we offer more than just accountancy, bookkeeping or payroll services.
At Guidon Group, we also go the extra mile to help our clients. Even if we help in areas we were not originally instructed in, we are here to help. And we do this without the ‘meter running’ because we don’t want to create more stress for our clients.
As this case study shows, we are always happy to step in to help!
Our client, Dean Heslop from Hesldean Investment Group in Redcar, is quite new to Guidon Group and was unsure about doing payroll and also furlough claims. It was made all the more difficult as staff were also being transferred under TUPE rules. With so many complications and delays, it was becoming more stressful.
What we did
We had to make a lot of calls to HMRC, which took a lot longer than expected. But we worked hard to resolve the issues as quickly as we could.
Throughout all the delays, we kept Dean updated so he knew it was being dealt with. Dean says he was impressed with how we communicated with him and kept him in the loop.
Eventually, after all those calls, Dean’s business received almost £13,000 in grant payments just in the nick of time! We were delighted to help. At Guidon Group, we have many years of experience in dealing with HMRC. We know that it can be difficult to find time when running your own business. That is why we are happy to take the strain from our clients.
We’re very grateful for Dean sending us a video about his experiences. If you want a proactive accountancy company, then speak to us today.
